Act V: Private Events & Private Classes

Have Your Special Event, Function, Or Celebration At Artfully Chocolate

Artfully Chocolate is a great venue for special events. We’ve hosted bridal showers, law firm parties, product introduction parties, domestic partner celebrations and more. We have also held private chocolate classes for various groups and clubs. These are great as team building events, birthday parties, etc.

For parties/receptions at Artfully Chocolate & Gifts, there are several options.

Private Event at Artfully Chocolate & Gifts

For a private event, the entire space is closed to the public and exclusive use is given to your group. For this option, the space rental is:

$1,000 for a 4 hour block from Mondays through Thursdays
$2,500 for a 4 hour block on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday
Prorated amounts can be applied for shorter rental periods

These amounts are for space rental only, and do not include any food or drink. If you would like Artfully Chocolate to cater your event, the space rental price is reduced. The costs of a catered event are:

Standard Package: $15 per person (Based on a 35 person minimum)
3 chocolate confections, non alcoholic drinks & 3 oz of cheese per person
Space rental for Standard Package:
- $750 for a 4 hour block from Mondays through Thursdays
- $1,800 for a 4 hour block on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday
- Prorated amounts can be applied for shorter rental periods

Non-Private Event at Artfully Chocolate & Gifts

For a non-private event, the café section of Artfully Chocolate is reserved for your group, but the rest of the store remains open to the public. For this option, the space rental is:

$500 for a 4 hour block from Mondays through Thursdays
$1,500 for a 4 hour block on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday
Prorated amounts can be applied for shorter rental periods

Standard Package: $15 per person (Based on a 25 person minimum)
3 chocolate confections, non alcoholic drinks & 3 oz of cheese per person
Space rental for Standard Package:
- $250 for a 4 hour block from Mondays through Thursdays
- $750 for a 4 hour block on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday
- Prorated amounts can be applied for shorter rental periods

Private Chocolate Classes at Artfully Chocolate & Gifts

The master chocolatiers at Artfully Chocolate lead Chocolate Tasting Classes and Chocolate/Wine Pairing Classes. Either class is a great party idea for showers, birthdays, anniversaries, or holiday occasions. Our classes are also outstanding team-building exercises for workplace groups.

Private Chocolate Tasting Classes can be arranged for groups of up to 30 people, with a minimum charge of 15 persons. The per-person tuition is $30. Please keep in mind that the Chocolate Tasting Class is held in the front of the store, and Artfully Chocolate will remain open to the public unless the space is rented as a “Private Event”.

Private Chocolate Production Classes can be arranged for groups of up to 18, with a flat charge of $525.

At Artfully Chocolate in Del Ray, the options are limited due to the size of the venue. In general, the types of events possible there are:

Children’s Chocolate-Making Parties at Artfully Chocolate Del Ray

Artfully Chocolate Del Ray can accommodate up to 15 children (generally over age 4) for a private party. The party will be hosted in the café section of the shop, but the shop will still be open to he public. The cost is $20 per child. We ask that a parent or two help manage the event (at no charge for the parent). Your child's party will last up to 2 hours and they will create a chocolate pizza or similar fun project.

Adult Reception/Party at Artfully Chocolate Del Ray

We can accommodate up to 10 adults for a chocolate-oriented party. Artfully Chocolate will provide sufficient chocolate, cheese and beverage (such as wine, champagne or hot chocolate). The price for this event is $25 per person for up to 2 hours. Your event will be hosted in the café section of the shop, but the shop will still be open to he public. If you prefer exclusive use of the shop, we can close it to the public, for up to 2 hours, for an additional $250 on weekdays and $500 on weekends.
